Bu Lang Zheng Shan (2008)

This is one of our favorite Sheng Pu-Er cakes from Bu Lang mountain in Menghai County. Thanks to the unique combination of environmental factors such as soil, climate, altitude and the surrounding ecosystem, the leaves and buds of this region’s tea trees are plump and sturdy.
Bu Lang Pu-Er Tea has a bright orange-yellow and transparent infusion. It offers a slightly strong, stimulating taste with a slight bitterness on the tongue and the rear part of the upper palate. The upper palate carries a strong, rich flavor, followed by a quick aftertaste, strong mouthwatering, and a full-bodied soup base. It exudes a strong and vibrant wild mountain charm. The tea leaves are soft to medium in texture, with a deep green or yellow-green color, and the leaf base has good elasticity.
