Mingqian Shifeng Longjing – First Flush Dragon Well Tea from West Lake
This premium Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea from Cha Zhi Ji is hand-harvested before Qingming from old “Qunti Zhong” tea trees on Shifeng Mountain, the highest-grade zone of Hangzhou’s protected West Lake region.
The Qunti cultivar is considered the most traditional form of Longjing—what locals call “Lao Longjing” or “native old bush tea.” Its production is extremely limited due to the scarcity of old trees in the Grade 1 protected Shifeng area.
The tea leaves are flat and spear-shaped, with a tender yellow-green hue and smooth, glossy surface. Once steeped, it reveals a fresh, full-bodied flavor with persistent beany aroma and a sweet, lingering aftertaste. The liquor is clear and bright, with delicate softness in every infusion.
Key Features:
- Mingqian harvest from West Lake Qunti Zhong old tree cultivar
- Shifeng Mountain – top-tier Longjing origin with protected status
- Authentic “native Longjing” profile: beany, full, long-lasting
- Flat and uniform leaf shape, yellow-green luster
- Sweet, fresh, mellow taste with excellent steeping endurance
For connoisseurs who seek the true spirit of Dragon Well tea, this is a rare and authentic treasure from the original terroir.
