Si Bao Liu Bao – 1980s Ginseng-Aged Vintage from the Cha Zhi Ji Vault

Si Bao (meaning “Four Treasures”) is one of Cha Zhi Ji’s most respected Liu Bao teas, produced in the 1980s and aged for decades in Malaysia. Part of our Ginseng Aroma Series, this tea has developed a distinctive medicinal wood and ginseng-like fragrance through long-term natural aging.

Made from mature tea leaves sourced in Wuzhou, Guangxi, this Liu Bao was traditionally processed using kill-green, rolling, steaming, pressing, and cold fermentation. It was stored in a cool, clean environment to encourage post-fermentation transformation.

The result is a tea with deep red liquor, smooth viscosity, and layered aromas of aged wood, light pine smoke, and dry jujube. It delivers a clean, mellow body with lingering sweetness and cooling sensation in the mouth and throat.

Si Bao is our “guardian tea” — time-worn and elegant, ideal for slow sipping on hot, humid days or when your body craves balance and comfort.
