Product Description
The name Ju Lun Zhu translates to “giant wheel pearl,” a term that historically refers to a precious gemstone worn by emperors and nobles. This 120 ml Yixing teapot celebrates that heritage with a rounded, lustrous body reminiscent of a polished pearl.
Handcrafted from Cha Zhi Ji’s diamond‑grade purple clay—the highest tier in our five‑grade system—this teapot delivers exceptional aroma clarity, smooth texture and full body. Each piece is formed by skilled artisans using aged ore and traditional tools and then fired to achieve a rich reddish‑brown finish. The looped handle and short spout provide a comfortable grip and a steady pour.
Zisha clay’s porous structure absorbs tea oils and impurities while brewing, creating a cleaner, more nuanced cup over time. It also exhibits capillary action, absorbing and retaining heat for consistent temperature during gongfu sessions. To preserve the seasoning, dedicate the pot to one type of tea (Pu‑erh, black or oolong) and clean it with water only.
- Capacity – 120 ml: sized for two to three small cups or a personal gongfu session.
- Diamond‑grade zisha: top rank in Cha Zhi Ji’s five‑grade system; prized for clarity, richness and mouthfeel.
- Handcrafted craftsmanship: each teapot is shaped by hand from aged ore and wood‑fired, giving it character and individuality.
- Pearl‑inspired design: rounded body and domed lid evoke the cultural meaning of a giant pearl.
- Heat retention & seasoning: porous zisha absorbs tea oils and keeps the brew warm, developing a patina that enhances future infusions.
- Multi‑hole filter: built‑in strainer yields a clean, smooth pour.
- Ideal for Pu‑erh, black and oolong teas: Yixing teapots are traditionally used for these teas and bring out their complexity.
