from 71 reviewsAbsolutely delighted with my Xian Piao Teapot! It has completely elevated my tea sessions. When brewing Yancha (rock tea), it performs magically—by the third infusion, it coaxes out a distinct, layered aroma that other teapots simply miss.
The real surprise came with aged ripe teas. Brewing a 90s 7581, the first pour was richly infused with jujube sweetness, and the second unexpectedly revealed a soothing herbal note. With a 90s aged Liubao, it brilliantly delivered the signature betel nut spice and deep aged fragrance right from the very first steep!
This teapot is a true treasure for any serious tea lover, unlocking profound depths and delightful surprises in every cup. Highly recommended!
This 2000s Yuan Du Liu Bao is a remarkable journey for the senses. At first sip, it retains a subtle, youthful astringency (Qing Se), but this quickly vanishes, transforming into a clean, melting sweetness that lingers beautifully on the palate.
The true power of this tea lies in its Ti Gan (body sensation). By the third cup, a distinct warmth begins to radiate across the back, signaling its deep energy and "Qi." It is incredibly grounding and resonant, offering a rare balance between its aging potential and its current vigor. For any connoisseur, this is a highly collectible gem that truly rewards the patient drinker.
always love to drink liubao when it get old enough, the calming effect makes my day
good material with perfect volume
This is a wonderful Shai Hong that I'd call a "New Year's tea." The flavor and aroma offer beautiful notes of orange peel, mandarin, tobacco, and prune. Complex and warming – perfect for the holiday season. Highly recommended!
This Qing dynasty cup is remarkably different from modern pieces. The porcelain has an exceptional tactile quality – smooth and cool to the touch, almost jade-like. It bears marks of time, which add their own charm and authenticity.
I am happy with this one, perfect size & love Pan Hu timeless shape!
Experiencing the 70's Si Jin Qian Liu Bao tea is like stepping back in time. The depth of its aroma is remarkable, revealing a complex blend of jujube date fragrance, profound aged character (Chen Xiang), and subtle wood notes (Mu Xiang)—a truly multi-layered bouquet.
The liquor itself is a beautiful deep red-brown (Hong Nong), offering a smooth, velvety texture (Shun Hua) that coats the palate. This tea is a quintessential example of authentic aged Liu Bao, perfect for sipping in cold and damp conditions, as its renowned warming and dampness-dispelling (Nuan Wei Qu Shi) properties provide immediate comfort. It truly is a masterpiece and the benchmark of fine old Liu Bao.
Very flavorful and what’s more, taste did not reduce even after up to 4x refills. Highly recommend for everyday drinking.
I compared this Diamond grade teapot with a standard clay teapot, and the difference is remarkable. The Diamond clay brings out more depth and complexity in the tea. The brewing quality is noticeably superior – the tea tastes smoother and more refined. The clay itself feels denser and more refined. Worth the investment for serious tea lovers!
Excellent teapot made from pure clay. The shape is comfortable and practical. Brews tea beautifully. Very satisfied with this purchase!
In the tranquil chambers of the Late Qing, the Blue Line Cup cradles amber light. A sip—a whisper of ancient orchards, a breath of distant kiln-fire. It is not merely tea tasted, but time itself, decanted through porcelain veined with the sky’s own delicate blueprint.
Shui Xian unfolds a floral-herbal aroma with hints of orchid and moss, a bright orange infusion, a soft sweet taste, and holds up well to multiple infusions.
This tea is remarkably mellow and smooth. The distinct woody aroma, developed through years of natural aging, is profound and soothing. The broth is thick, rich, and visually stunning. Each sip delivers a deep, lingering sweetness that is incredibly satisfying and stable across many infusions. A truly classic and contemplative old tea.
