Affordable tea to drink daily. But I found sad fact that its after taste disappears so quickly… Don’t think it’s awful. It tastes very smooth and sweet like ripe peaches.
I was drawn to brew-up some Liubao in the heat of a humid July afternoon. Celebration was the tea of choice and it did not disappoint. The mouthfeel of this tea was like rich soup. Larger leaves made for a nicely thick tea. Aged taste and woody tastes accompany subtle aromatics for multiple steeps.
This Liubao from the 70s is a glimpse into the past with rich cup after cup. The distinctive profile of this Liubao is apparent from the first steep.
I'm not a fan of young sheng pu erh, but this one impressed me with it's softness, and intense floral smell and aroma. strong hui gan⚡️
